Our Mexican villa, Villa Tortuga, is one of the best tropical beach rentals in the Riviera Nayarit. We want to make sure that all of our guests are informed about our property and its services. Here are a few of our frequently asked questions. If the answer you are looking for isn't here, please contact us at anytime and we'll fill you in.

Reservations & Hotel Policies

We want all of our guests to know about our current reservation and hotel policies.

  • No smoking on the property
  • No pets allowed
  • Maximum allowance of guests should not exceed the original reservation number or reservation will be cancelled on site without refund
  • No parties inside the villa or gardens
  • No loud noise after 10 pm that can disturb neighbors
  • No maid service on Sundays and certain holidays (January 1st, Dec 15 th, May 1st, Sept 16th, Nov 20th)
  • When hiring meal service (for an additional fee) Sunday meal service available only when two meal service is contracted for the day (Breakfast and lunch). Mon-Sat one-meal only plan service is available

Our Location

Our hotel is located 70 miles north of the resort town of Puerto Vallarta in the Riviera Nayarit area. It is nestled in an ecological preserve, surrounded by nine miles of pristine beachfront. This stunning private beach residence is situated within the exclusive gated development of Playa Las Tortugas.

Our location offers safety and convenience for all guests. Approximately, 20 million tourists visit Mexico each year and the majority of beachfront destinations are considered safe for tourists. Guests that come to the Riviera Nayarit to escape from it all generally do not encounter any dangerous situations.

During Your Stay

When you stay with us at Villa Tortuga you will have access to excellent amenities including a gourmet kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, a dining area for eight people, a pool, satellite TVs, direct beach access and so much more. If you feel like buying food, fresh fruit, and other food items to stock up during your stay, the nearest grocery store is located in the town of Zacualpan, approximately a 30 to 40-minute drive away. If guests feel like dining off the property, the nearest restaurants include Los Tres Potrillos and Restaurant Ruiz, both are approximately a 30-minute drive away. Some extra services include personal chefs, massage services and private airport transportation assistance.

Yes, daily maid service is included with your stay and a gardener is on staff who attends to the grounds.

The laundry area is managed by our staff, who would be happy to do your laundry. Just drop it in the laundry baskets located in each en-suite bathroom and you will receive your clean clothing the next day.

Absolutely! Just let us know a day in advance whether you want your meals prepared for you by our Chef.

It is $30 USD per day per adult and $15 USD per day per child under 11. Our meal service consists of two very abundant meals: a large breakfast and a plentiful lunch or dinner.

It is customary to tip that staff as they work very hard to be at your exclusive service for 8 hours a day. Depending on the size of your party, customary tips vary from $15-20 USD /per day per staff member.
